Ingredients
- 1 cup Chinese chives shredded
- 1/2 cup daikon radish shredded
- 1/4 cup dried shrimp soaked and chopped
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 package frozen puff pastry thawed
- 1 Egg for Egg wash, (1 egg beaten with a splash of water)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix together the shredded Chinese chives, daikon radish, dried shrimp, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into 4 squares.
- Place a spoonful of the chive filling in the center of each pastry square.
- Fold the pastry over the filling to create a triangle shape and press the edges to seal.
- Place the chive puffs on the prepared baking sheet and brush the tops with the egg wash.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown and crispy.
- Once done, remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
