Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb chicken breasts boneless, skinless cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Cooked rice for serving

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger. Add the chicken pieces and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook until browned and cooked through.
  4. Pour the sauce over the cooked chicken and bring to a simmer. Add the cornstarch slurry and stir until the sauce thickens.
  5. Serve the sesame chicken over cooked rice and garnish with sesame seeds. Enjoy!
