Deep Fried Brie
Ingredients
Method
- Cut the Brie cheese into 1-inch cubes or wedges.
- Set up a breading station: Place flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs in three separate shallow dishes.
- Dredge each piece of Brie in flour, then dip it in the beaten eggs, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs, making sure to cover the cheese completely.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or a heavy-bottomed pot to 350°F (180°C).
- Carefully lower the breaded Brie pieces into the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the fryer.
- Fry the Brie for about 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp.
- Remove the fried Brie with a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- Serve the Deep Fried Brie hot with cranberry sauce or honey for dipping.
- Enjoy!
