Sliced Banana Flower and Chive stir-fry
Sliced Banana Flower and Chive stir-fry is a delicious and healthy dish made by stir-frying sliced banana flower and chives with a mixture of spices and seasonings. The banana flower has a slightly tangy and bitter flavor that pairs well with the mild taste of chives. This dish is often served as a side dish or can be enjoyed as a main course with rice or noodles.
- 1 banana flower (sliced thinly)
- 2 cups fresh chives (chopped)
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon ginger (minced)
- 1 red chili (sliced (optional))
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce

- Add the sliced banana flower to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender.
- Add the chopped chives to the skillet and continue stir-frying for another 2-3 minutes.
- Season the stir-fry with soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine all the flavors.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are cooked but still slightly crunchy.
- Serve the Sliced Banana Flower and Chive stir-fry hot as a side dish or over steamed rice.
- Enjoy!
