- 1/2 cup onions chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
- 1/4 cup chopped almonds
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 12 sheets phyllo dough
- 1/2 cup melted butter
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the ground meat with onions and garlic until browned. Add the cumin, coriander, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Stir in the parsley, almonds, and raisins. Allow the mixture to cool.

- Take one sheet of phyllo dough, brush it with melted butter, and fold it in half lengthwise. Place a spoonful of the meat mixture at one end of the phyllo dough. Fold the phyllo dough over the filling to form a triangle. Continue folding in a triangular shape until you reach the end of the dough. Repeat with the remaining phyllo sheets and filling.
- Place the Briouat on a baking sheet and brush the tops with more melted butter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve the Briouat warm with your favorite dipping sauce or enjoy on its own.
