Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium cauliflower head cut into small florets
  • 1 green bell pepper cut into thin strips
  • 1 red bell pepper cut into thin strips
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 2-3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1- inch ginger piece grated
  • 1 tablespoon cumin seeds
  • 1 tablespoon mustard seeds
  • 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoon coriander powder
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala
  • 2 tablespoon oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Method
 

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and mustard seeds. When the seeds start to splutter, add onion, garlic, and ginger.
  2. Sauté the onion mixture until it turns golden brown.
  3. Add turmeric, coriander powder, and garam masala. Stir well for a minute.
  4. Add the cauliflower florets and cook for 5 minutes until the cauliflower becomes tender.
  5. Then add the bell peppers and salt to taste. Cook for another 5 minutes until the bell peppers become tender.
  6. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or naan bread.
