  • In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, vinegar, water, onion, garlic, bay leaves, and black peppercorns. Mix well.
  • Add the pork belly to the bowl and stir to coat the meat with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight.
  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the pork from the marinade and set aside the marinade.
