- 1 teaspoon urad dal
- 1 teaspoon chana dal

Instructions
- In a small skillet combine all the spices except the turmeric . Heat over medium heat until brown, 5 to 10 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Once cooled, mix in the turmeric. Transfer mixture in batches to a grinder like a coffee grinder and grind into a powder.
