Roast Duck Legs with Red Wine
Ingredients
- 1 bunch rosemary fresh, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic
- 4 duck legs
- salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon Chinese five-spice blend
- 1 1/2 cups red wine
- 1 1/2 tablespoons red currant jelly

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Prepare duck:In a baking pan layer the rosemary sprigs and garlic cloves then place the duck legs on top.Sprinkle the legs with the Chinese 5 seasons and add salt to taste
- Make sauce:Add wine to a saucepan and bring to boil.Stir in currant jelly until dissolve.Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.Set aside
- Bake:Bake duck in the preheated oven for 1 hour.Drain oil from baking dish and discard.Pour wine sauce over duck legs and bake some more until tender, about 15 minutes.
