Peanut butter and jelly sandwich is a popular and classic sandwich made by spreading peanut butter and jelly (or jam) between two slices of bread.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 slices bread (your choice of white, whole wheat, or multigrain)
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup jelly or jam (flavor of your choice)

Method
 

  1. Spread 1 tablespoon of peanut butter evenly on one side of each of the 4 slices of bread.
  2. Spread 1 tablespoon of jelly or jam on one side of the remaining 4 slices of bread.
  3. Place the slices of bread with peanut butter on top of the slices with jelly to form sandwiches.
  4. Press down gently to seal the sandwiches.
  5. If desired, you can cut the sandwiches into halves or quarters for easier eating.
  6. Enjoy!
