It's salt. With a small percentage of the chloride swapped out for iodide, adding a bit of extra nutrition for your diet. It's Morton brand, and Morton has been in the salt business for a very long time. They come in paper cylinders with a metal spout on top. Store it in a DRY place, moisture is the enemy here. What else can I say about a tub of ground salt? I mean, have you ever used salt for anything before? Ever seen it in a shaker on your dinner table or used it to season your meat while cooking? If you've never tried salt on anything all I can say is… it is very salty.
