Fried plantain

Method
- Peel the plantains and cut them into thick diagonal slices, about 1/2 inch thick.
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Once the oil is hot, carefully add the plantain slices to the pan in a single layer.
- Fry the plantains for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and caramelized.
- Remove the fried plantains from the pan and place them on a paper towel to drain any excess oil.
- Optional: sprinkle some salt on the fried plantains for added flavor.
- Enjoy it as a side dish or snack.
