Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup Nutella
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon mint extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the Nutella, softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined.
  3. Add the mint extract and egg to the mixture and mix until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Scoop out 1-2 tablespoon-sized portions of dough and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each cookie.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are slightly golden.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
