Lavender shortbread cookies

Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the flour and culinary lavender to the bowl and mix until a dough forms.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
- Use a cookie cutter to cut out your desired shapes and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake the cookies for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool on a wire rack before serving.
- Enjoy!
