Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon culinary lavender (dried)

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the flour and culinary lavender to the bowl and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
  5. Use a cookie cutter to cut out your desired shapes and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake the cookies for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  7. Allow the cookies to cool on a wire rack before serving.
