Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound chicken breasts boneless, skinless, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper sliced
  • 1 cup water chestnuts sliced
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds toasted
  • 2 green onions sliced
  • Cooked rice for serving

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Add chicken pieces and marinate for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook until browned and cooked through.
  3. Add the sliced bell peppers and water chestnuts to the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  4. Stir in the toasted almonds and green onions. Cook for another minute.
  5. Serve the Almond Chicken over cooked rice and enjoy!
