Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon ground cardamom
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup dates chopped
  • 1/2 cup walnuts chopped

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, vegetable oil, sugar, and water. Knead the dough until it comes together and is smooth. Let it rest for about 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the cardamom, cinnamon, dates, and walnuts to make the filling.
  4. Divide the dough into small balls and flatten each ball into a circle using a rolling pin.
  5. Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each circle of dough. Fold the edges of the dough over the filling to create a triangle shape.
  6. Place the Kolompeh on the prepared baking sheet and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Let the Kolompeh cool before serving. Enjoy!
