  • 6-8 cloves garlic

Method

  1. In a blender or food processor, combine the coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chilies, garlic, ginger, cumin seeds, black peppercorns, turmeric powder, lime juice, and salt. Blend until you have a smooth and vibrant green marinade.
  2. In a large bowl, place the chicken pieces and pour the marinade over them. Mix well, ensuring the chicken is coated evenly. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, allowing the flavors to infuse into the chicken.
  3. After marinating, remove the chicken from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature.
  4. In a large frying pan, heat some cooking oil over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the marinated chicken pieces, along with the marinade. Cook for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and tender. You can adjust the cooking time based on the thickness of the chicken pieces.
  5. Once the chicken is cooked, increase the heat to medium-high and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to brown and crisp up the edges slightly.
  6. Remove from heat and serve hot with steamed rice or bread of your choice.
