Ingredients
  

  • 4 chicken breasts boneless skinless
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup gochujang (Korean red chili pepper paste)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions thinly sliced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, mix together the flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Coat the chicken pieces in the flour mixture, making sure they are well coated on all sides.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan or skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Fry the chicken in batches until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
  6. In a separate bowl, whisk together the gochujang, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil to make the spicy sauce.
  7. Once all the chicken pieces are fried, transfer them to a large mixing bowl.
  8. Pour the spicy sauce over the chicken and toss until well coated.
  9. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
  10. Serve the Chicken Padak hot and enjoy!
