Orange Duck Breast
Ingredients
- 1 jar orange marmalade (12 ozs)
- 4 duck breasts halves
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 small yellow onion sliced
- 1 small orange sliced
Instructions
- Make multiple holes over the breasts.
- In a pre-grease baking dish spread 1/4 cup marmalade to evenly cover bottom of dish.
- Place breasts in dish and coat each breast with a tablespoon of marmalade.
- Next sprinkle garlic and layer onions over duck.
- Preheat an oven to 475 degrees F.
- Bake covered for 20 minutes.
- Remove cover and baste with marmalade.
- Cook uncovered at 145 degrees F until fluid run clear from meat, about 40 minutes or until minimum internal temperature of 165 °F is reached.
- Slice the duck breasts and serve them drizzled with the orange sauce.Serve with orange slices.
