BBQ salmon
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (6-8 oz each)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for garnish
- fresh herbs for garnish
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to make the marinade.
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them. Make sure the salmon is well coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, up to 2 hours.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Brush the grill grates with oil to prevent sticking.
- Remove the salmon from the marinade and shake off any excess. Discard the leftover marinade.
- Place the salmon fillets on the grill, skin side down, and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. Be careful not to overcook the salmon.
- Once cooked, remove the salmon from the grill and garnish with lemon wedges and fresh herbs.
- Serve the barbecued salmon hot with your favorite side dishes. Enjoy!
