Bacon-wrapped jalapeno peppers is a delicious appetizer or snack made by stuffing fresh jalapeno peppers with cream cheese and then wrapping them in bacon before baking or grilling them until the bacon is crispy.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 jalapeno peppers fresh
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 8 slices bacon cut in half
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Toothpicks

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the jalapeno peppers in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Fill each jalapeno half with the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Wrap each filled jalapeno half with a half slice of bacon and secure it with a toothpick.
  6. Place the bacon-wrapped jalapeno peppers on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the peppers are tender.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
