Crab Stuffed Mushrooms is a delicious appetizer made by stuffing mushroom caps with a mixture of crab meat, breadcrumbs, herbs, and cheese. They are often baked until golden and crispy on top.

Ingredients
  

  • 16 large white mushrooms
  • 1 can lump crab meat (6 oz), drained
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Remove the stems from the mushrooms and set them aside. Clean the mushroom caps with a damp paper towel to remove any dirt.
  3. Chop the mushroom stems finely and place them in a mixing bowl.
  4. Add the drained crab meat, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic, parsley, melted butter, salt, and pepper to the bowl with the chopped mushroom stems. Mix everything together until well combined.
  5. Stuff each mushroom cap with the crab mixture, pressing it down gently.
  6. Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are cooked through and the tops are golden brown.
  8. Serve the Crab Stuffed Mushrooms hot and enjoy!
