  1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the drained oysters to the pot and cook for about 1-2 minutes until the edges start to curl.
  3. Pour in the milk and stir gently to combine.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika, adjusting to taste.
  5. Bring the stew to a simmer (do not boil) and cook for another 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Once the stew is hot and the oysters are cooked through, remove from heat.
  7. Serve the Oyster Stew hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
  8. Enjoy!
