- In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the drained oysters to the pot and cook for about 1-2 minutes until the edges start to curl.
- Pour in the milk and stir gently to combine.
- Season with salt, pepper, and paprika, adjusting to taste.
- Bring the stew to a simmer (do not boil) and cook for another 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Once the stew is hot and the oysters are cooked through, remove from heat.
- Serve the Oyster Stew hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
- Enjoy!
