  • Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook for 3 minutes, until the onion softens.

  • Now add the crushed tomatoes, basil and season with salt and pepper. Stir and bring to a boil, cook for about 20 minutes.
  • Add the spaghetti to the skillet and toss well with the prepared sauce. Top with grated Parmesan and dried basil. Serve immediately
