Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, cinnamon, and ginger.
Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
Add the sliced apples on top of the chicken.
In a bowl, mix together the apple cider, chicken broth, honey, minced garlic, and pour the mixture over the chicken and apples.
Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
Once done, you can shred the chicken or serve it whole with the apple mixture on top.
Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
