Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • pasta cooked or crusty bread for serving

Method
 

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
  4. Pour in the white wine and lemon juice, and let it simmer for another 2 minutes.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
  6. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the chopped parsley.
  7. Serve the shrimp scampi over cooked pasta or with crusty bread.
  8. Enjoy!
