Parmesan chicken is a delicious dish where chicken breasts are coated in breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan cheese and then baked or fried until crispy and golden brown.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 chicken breasts boneless skinless
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • Cooking spray

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a shallow dish, mix together the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each chicken breast in the beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the crumbs to the chicken.
  4. Place the coated chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Lightly spray the tops of the chicken breasts with cooking spray to help them crisp up in the oven.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is crispy and golden brown.
  7. Serve the Parmesan chicken hot with your favorite side dishes.
