Preheat your oven to 450°F.
Roll out the pizza dough into a 12-inch (30cm) circle.
Place the dough onto a pizza pan or baking sheet.
Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the surface of the dough, leaving a small border around the edge.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
Add a few whole basil leaves on top of the cheese.
Drizzle the pizza with a little bit of olive oil and sprinkle a pinch of salt.
Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
Slice the pizza into wedges and serve hot.
