Method
 

  1. In a bowl, mix together the ground pork or veal, chopped onion, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about the size of a golf ball, and flatten slightly to form patties.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter or oil.
  4. Fry the frikadeller in batches for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
