Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken strips and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the chicken is no longer pink and is cooked through. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
Reduce heat to low and add heavy cream to the skillet. Stir and simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Add grated Parmesan cheese to the sauce and stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet and stir to combine.
Add the cooked fettuccine pasta to the skillet and toss until the pasta is coated in the sauce.
Season with additional salt and pepper if needed.
Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley on top.
