This sauce would not thicken up like the Knorr Hollandaise sauce does, and I had to add my own corn starch to get it to do so. Then, the taste was absolutely awful – super bitter and nothing like Hollandaise sauce. I was really disappointed! Suggest you stick with Knorr, which cooks up in seconds and tastes great.

I love eggs benedict and am also gluten free. Often times the store bought mixes have flour in them so this is a great option that is not sold in stores.

I have to cut down on milk and butter and that's a big part of the traditionally made Hollandaise sauce, and what makes it so tasty. So, I used almond milk and a vegan "butter" (non-diary). The mixture ended up too liquid, so I added in some organic corn starch and got the thicker consistency I like. Finally, added black pepper and some fresh squeezed lemon juice.
It was delicious! I generously ladled some on 2 eggs benedict. The next morning over crabcakes on a bed of of air-fried home potatoes. Still have one more generous ladle for another day. As I used less than the recommended cup of milk, with a full cup I could have stretched it out to 4 servings. Costlier per package than others on Amazon, but for the heart-health benefits, 4 helpings is about $1.00+ per serving. Restuarant Eggs Benedict hits me up for around $20 in Berkeley including tax and tip. Crab Benedict – add $5 more. This is actually "such a deal" without compromising taste.
