My New Favorite Green Sauce!I do like a little spice on my food and have always enjoyed the typical red sauces like Tabasco, Cholula , Franks Red Hot, Tapatio etc. However, more recently I have been a much bigger fan of the green sauces. Green Tabasco and lots of serrano green sauces. I find the tanginess to be delicious and they complimnet my taste prefences better in genral.
This green sauce from Peru is downright AMAZING!
It is SO fresh and SO tangy that I think it is my top pick at the moment.
The flavors are rich and you can really feel the freshness and lack of fillers.
I also love that it is a more grass roots brand and community enhancing.
I will be trying the other flavors in their line but suspect that this is the one I will be coming back to most often!

Really tasty and richFirst off, remember to put this in the refrigerator after you open it. The number one ingredient is eggs. You don't want to leave eggs sitting on your counter.
The fact that there are eggs in this, definitely helps it be quite rich in flavor. It isn't that hot at all. It might be about as hot as grocery store hot sauce. I don't even mean the extra hot versions of that, I just mean the regular stuff. So if you can handle random Louisiana hot sauce, you'll be fine with this. It's not that hot.
You do want to shake it before you use it. It does tend to clump up in there a bit. If you don't shake it, it's likely to dump quite a bit all at once.
It does taste like a green salsa, which makes sense. It is quite a bit richer than a typical green salsa though. It is really good. I put some on a sandwich, and it made the sandwich a lot better. It should be good on pretty much anything.
It is quite expensive. Then again, it contains eggs. Eggs seem to cost more and more each day.

I like how well the sauce paired with the foods that I added it to without overwhelming the flavor of the food. The sauce clung to all of the foods that I added it to. It was a delicious accompaniment to scrambled eggs, over easy eggs, grilled salmon, grilled chicken, and roasted potatoes. It can also be added to tacos, burritos, fajitas, pizza, burgers, and sandwiches. The possibilities are endless! The ingredients include whipped egg dressing (vegetable oil (soybean), water, pasteurized egg yolk, salt, vinegar, mustard, natural flavor), cilantro, yellow pepper, water, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, preservative (sodium benzoate), and acidity regulator (phosphoric acid). There are 36 servings per container with each 1 tablespoon serving containing 10 Calories, 1g Total Fat, 1g Total Carbohydrate, and 0g Protein. It is a Product of Peru.
