I hadn't used curry paste before, but I'd read that the red paste is very hot. I found the yellow kind and it tastes good. The main thing is that both red and yellow are organic.

Used a little less than half the bottle w/ 2 cups of coconut milk (2 tbsp is not enough if you like a stronger flavor IMO). Added one packet of Stevia, a little more than half a tbsp of fish sauce, and some red pepper flakes – this got it tasting more like the panang curry I get at a restaurant. Overall, not bad. It’s probably a good alternative if you are looking for panang paste that is vegan.

This is great for home cooking. I use a full jar with a full can of coconut milk. Adjust according to your taste and spice level desire. I actually add Chili's to it because I like my food really spicy, but I don't think most people will need it. It tastes very similar to Thai curry at a restaurant. There are things you can to make it taste more authentic if you search the internet for recipes.
The ingredients are all organic and I like that they use sea salt and not table salt. All the Thai pastes at the Asian grocery store contain high amounts of table salt and sometimes even seed oils. Yuck! This product is perfect in terms of ingredients and taste.
I use it to make Chicken and Shrimp, but it should work for any protein. Next, I'm going to try the Panang curry which is a bit sweeter. Great product!

WOW this stuff is delicious. Hit the spot, it's just like the Panang curries I order from Thai restaurants. Its more spicy so I had to dilute it with a lot of coconut milk. I also added sugar and thickened it up with some corn starch. The bottle is small but a little goes a long way!
