Bravo!!! This was the best mole I have ever had and so easy! I took the advice of one of the reviewers and used 4 cups of warm chicken broth to make the sauce. I then browned 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs in a skillet and added them to the sauce. I let them cook together for about an hour. I then skimmed the extra fat, thickened the sauce with a little corn starch and water and there you have it! Dinner! I served it with cilantro lime rice, sliced avocado and sour cream on the side. My husband went back for seconds. We have leftover sauce for another awesome meal! Thank you!!!!

Mi Mole brand Mole Negro is absolutely delicious!!! It hits all the flavor profiles you expect in a Mole while providing your taste buds with an explosion of flavor!! If you haven't tried it yet, you are doing yourself a disservice and need to order it ASAP, you will be happy you did!!!

This was an excellent mole' paste! We did use the information from the reviews to guide us in the preparation: A hot broth pot from which to gradually whisk in the broth, opening the packet in the sink over a bowl, a longer cooking time to allow the flavours to develop, and waiting for it to thicken until the desired consistency. We also changed our long-standing technique for preparation: poaching the chicken thighs in its own broth in a slow cooker until no pink remained instead of sautรฉing first, and using the finished mole' sauce to drizzle over the chicken on the serving plate rather than heating the chicken in the sauce. The information on the packet to add 2 cups of liquid, chicken broth or water, and that it made 6 servings of 1/4 cup each was misleading and at odds with the reviews stating that the packet made enough sauce for 4# and 7# of chicken, for10 people, and "enough for a crowd", respectively. We used 5.6# of boneless, skinless, chicken thighs with 32oz. of chicken bone broth, and it made plenty for a generous drizzle of mole' sauce serving ten people with enough left over for at least several more servings. This mole' paste is a very dark, intensely flavoured, authentic Mexican mole'. We would recommend it highly!
