The qualityThis is 100% asafoetida, if know anything about this herb. smells fresh, I have purchase this before from a near by international store. It last a little over a year. Once the smell is gone, it time to re-purchase.

Use sparingly!This is the brand of asafoetida my family used throughout my childhood. For everyone saying it smells too strong – you are literally supposed to use a tiny, tiny pinch! Do not use it in the same quantities as onion or garlic powder. It’s kind of your fault if you can’t follow simple instructions in a recipe.
