This is the best soy sauce I have ever used. I have been doing a lot of Chinese cooking and just don't like the grocery store brands of soy sauce. Some recipes call for "dark soy sauce". I looked up possible substitutions because I could not find any local. The search response lead my to advice that said the flavor of dark soy sauce can not be duplicated with other ingredients. So I decided to try this brand. I thought the golden heart shaped spoon was cute too. I didn't really need another bottle of regular soy sauce but they came together. I'm so glad they did. Both the soy and dark soy sauces are delicious! They are so good in marinades and flavoring dishes. I used the last of my old soy sauce to marinate steaks and was sorry I had not used this brand. The overwhelming taste of the old sauce almost ruined the steaks. The old stuff is gone now and I plan only to use this brand and the mild pleasant flavor it gives food.
