Wow, this is by far the freshest tasting, most aromatic ground cumin I have purchased in a few years. I didn't know what I was missing as most powdered cumin I find to be rather bland and mild. Love this product and it is a good value because I can use less and get the same flavor in my cooking.

great spices, great value!The quality of this spice was very surprising sometimes when you buy generic spices or non-namebrand, you expect them to not be as potent, but I purchased this, and the flavor was amazing very fresh and just as good as the much higher cost of namebrand seasonings

Fresh and Clean SmellingVery good product. This is the Amazon brand and I am not sure if it has anything to do with Whole Foods. I use a lot of Cumin because we love spicy foods and we eat a lot of Mexican food. I have seen so many measurements re chili powder (only Gebhardt's please) and cumin. I learned from a chef that the rule is three parts chili powder and one part cumin, or one tablespoon and a little over a teaspoon. This will give you the best taste. This cumin is very fresh and the smell is right. Highly recommend.
