   I used to buy porcini salt from a small store but they went out of business, I’m going to try to use this porcini powder. It smells good and gives a decent taste but I wish I could find the one I was used to.

   The aroma and flavor are strong, and the mushrooms rehydrate well. They were cleaner than any mushrooms I would get at the store. I bought them for the first time to make a traditional Eastern European mushroom soup for Christmas but I will make another purchase soon to incorporate into everyday cooking.

   I add this to my homemade veggie stack and to my ragu bolognese. Really elevates the flavor. Pricey but don't need much in the dish.
