I can’t live without this for family dinnersThis is the best purchase I have ever made for entertaining. My family members ask to borrow this all the time. I also use it several times a week to keep dinner warm when family members are all eating dinner at different times (busy / different schedules).
PROs: All of the trays and lids are dishwasher safe. I’ve purchased 2 of these and used dozens of times without any issue or breakage. Use the 5 quart (2 trays) for small family meals; and the 7.5 quart (4 trays) for entertaining. Good capacity (about 4-6 servings of food in each tray). Heats up fast and stays warm while on. It is lightweight and easy to store. I like the large edges as handles to move this around safely.
CONs: The heat control is adjustable but in my experience, it needs to be on max to keep the food hot.

Worked great, heated fast and stayed hot for hours!Well, I guess I'm lucky, because I had no problem heating it up quick on about a medium-medium high setting on the control knob. I did use the knob to adjust the food temp once or twice during my Easter family gathering to be sure nothing burned or cooled off, and I used two square foil pans on the hot plate instead of the ones that came with it as a couple reviewers suggested–they fit perfectly; and put foil over them to keep food hot before serving. Gave a nice light brown crust to the bottom of my holiday mashed and my kielbasa and nothing stuck. And next-best of all, it gave me more places to put hot food besides the stove top. I did set them on a med/large wooden cutting board to protect my new countertops, just in case, but the unit seemed to stay cool everywhere except on the surface of the hot plate itself. Got the 2-part and three-part warmers and both fit great on my counter, and I could fit 7 lbs of kielbasi and sauerkraut in two of the foil square pans and 8 lbs of mashed potatoes in just one of the square foil pans. I made sure my kielbasi and potatoes were baked perfectly before I put them in the warming pans and nothing dried out either. LOVE! 🙂

Good purchase for thanksgiving dinnerI ordered 2. When they first arrived they seemed so small I almost returned them. Im glad I didn't. I was able to put 2 big stuffing trays from costco into a single tray on the warmer. I used another for veggies and another for mashed potatoes. They hold alot of food and keep it warm. Im happy with my purchase and hopefully they last.
