De Cecco GemelliI exclusively use De Cecco pasta. The taste is great and I never time the boiling; it rarely overcooks since it does take some time. I like having the different shapes and the Gemelli has become impossible to find in stores. I think the shape is perfect for use as a side dish, for soups, and sometimes for sauce, although in that case I generally use the De Cecco spaghetti. It's a medium shape twist but more compact than Fusilli. I found 10 boxes on Amazon. However, they should have enclosed more packing as the outer box was damaged and several pasta boxes were partly crushed – but they weren't a gift.
