- Two Traditional Japanese Components United – Sakura (or more commonly referred to as cherry blossoms) and sencha green tea are two iconic components that symbolize the tradition of Japan. Both Sakura (Cherry Blossom) and Sencha Green Tea are cherished by the Japanese people for centuries as the pride of the country. We have not only carefully selected the best Japanese Sakura, but we have also included two types of green tea cultivars including Yabukita from Shizuoka, and Asatsuyu from Kagoshima. All of these components are blended in a well-balanced ratio to create a mellow tasting, vibrant green colored, refreshing and floral sakura loose leaf sencha green tea
- Naturally Grown, Rich and Balanced Tea – The tea leaves are grown in a natural tea plantation with an abundance of natural sunlight. The conditions of both the farmland and the natural environment work together to create a rich and full-bodied loose leaf green tea. The farmers take careful care, consideration and focus on the cultivation methods, ensuring the best sencha tea flavors, making the loose leaf sencha tea has balanced sweetness and mellowness
- Carefully Selected Sakura – The selected Sakura leaves in our sencha sakura tea originate from the town of Matsuzaki, Izu, located in Shizuoka Prefecture. Izu is said to have been the birthplace of all Sakura in Japan. The geographical condition of Izu produces an ideal climate for the growth of Sakura, or Cherry Blossoms, as it is close to natural environments, including the sea and the forest, resulting in a wonderful, and fragrant sakura. The Sakura leaves and the Sencha Green Tea are well blended to create a flavorful, floral, loose green tea
