The jelly itself is fantastic. Very sweet and moderately spicy. It tastes like a fruit jelly with a kick of heat. It does not taste like raw jalapeño, which was my fear. Great product.
Unfortunately, the jars were packaged poorly for shipping and one of the six jars was completely shattered, making a giant mess in the box. This is a common complaint from past reviews, and this issue has clearly not been addressed.
Amazon is reimbursing my order due to the defect, so I’ll give the product full marks since it is a great jelly and Amazon made it right. Hopefully the manufacturer fixes their packaging, because I would like to reorder in the future without having to deal with broken glass and sticky jelly everywhere.
