This is the magical ingredient when making my favorite Canadian dessert Nanaimo Bars, nothing else will do. Hard to find in the US, not sold in most grocery stores. I didn't realize that these tins were twice the size of the one I usually get, so this was quite a bargain. The only problem was there is no expiry date on either one of the tins.
