not as picturedin the picture, in relation to the size of the knife, it appears thicker. it is only about 1 1/2 inches thick. alos, it did not come wrapped in the white sheeting. it was vacuum packed. one a good note, it's juicey and flavorful. i will buy my italian salami somewhere else for now on.
