This is delicious tomato paste. I'll even squeeze some right into my mouth (if no one is watching).This is a rich, deeply tasty, full-flavored tomato paste. It's more expensive than most domestic tomato paste brands that I've tried, but well worth the extra premium. It has worked well in every tomato dish that I've used it with.
As a bonus, lycopene, a naturally occurring compound in ripe tomatoes has known health benefits. In fact, I've recently read in a respected medical journal that a long-term study has shown that a daily tablespoon of tomato paste has measurable benefits for heart health.
