Watch the price!Good sausage but the price went through the roof. I bought this in February for $19.99. It arrived as two sausages connected by casing and weighed a smidgen under a pound. I ordered 2 packages, assuming four sausages, received two for a weight of 15.2 ounces. Total cost $77.98. I did write asking if there was a pricing error, photo error, or a mistake in what was sent. I have not heard a reply. $80/lb for sausage is way to expensive for me. My mistake for not catching the doubling or quadrupling of the price. So find out what amount you get before ordering. I will post the answer on my questions regarding pricing.

Delicious! Childhood revisitedMy husband used the sausage for our traditional holiday sausage pies. He said it is the closest to what his Italian grandma used when he was growing up. We’re about to place another order!

Great old time texture and flavor!!I LOVE this sausage! It tastes exactly as it did 70 years ago when my Mom would get this from an Italian butcher named Louie…The sausages were filled and hung from a long pole to dry near the ceiling. These sausages are the same, they have no underlying flavors, pure meat and true Italian spices. Like Italy!!
