Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked rice (preferably cold, day-old rice)
- 1 lb beef (sirloin or flank steak), thinly sliced
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (such as peas, carrots, bell peppers)
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and stir-fry the beef until cooked through. Remove beef from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Push the garlic to one side of the pan and pour in the beaten eggs. Scramble the eggs until cooked, then mix with the garlic.
- Add the mixed vegetables to the pan and stir-fry until they are slightly tender.
- Add the cooked rice to the pan, breaking up any clumps. Stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Mix everything well.
- Add the cooked beef back to the pan and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
- Enjoy!
