Oven fried chicken is a tasty alternative to traditional fried chicken that is cooked in the oven instead of being deep-fried. Ingredients
  

  • 8 pieces chicken bone-in, skin-on (such as drumsticks and thighs)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • Olive oil spray

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Dip each piece of chicken into the beaten eggs, making sure it’s coated on all sides.
  4. Roll the chicken in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the breadcrumbs to the chicken.
  5. Place the coated chicken pieces on the prepared baking sheet. Lightly spray the top of the chicken with olive oil spray.
  6. Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
  7. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
  8. Enjoy!
