Oven fried chicken
Ingredients
- 8 pieces chicken bone-in, skin-on (such as drumsticks and thighs)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 eggs beaten
- Olive oil spray
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Dip each piece of chicken into the beaten eggs, making sure it’s coated on all sides.
- Roll the chicken in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the breadcrumbs to the chicken.
- Place the coated chicken pieces on the prepared baking sheet. Lightly spray the top of the chicken with olive oil spray.
- Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
- Once cooked, remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Enjoy!
