Method
- In a large saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for about a minute until fragrant.
- Add the cooked fava beans with their liquid to the saucepan and stir to combine.
- Season with cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine all the flavors.
- Lower the heat and let the beans simmer for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice.
- Serve the ful medames warm, topped with your choice of parsley, tomatoes, onions, and/or hard-boiled eggs.
- Enjoy!
