In a large saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and cook for about a minute until fragrant.
Add the cooked fava beans with their liquid to the saucepan and stir to combine.
Season with cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine all the flavors.
Lower the heat and let the beans simmer for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice.
Serve the ful medames warm, topped with your choice of parsley, tomatoes, onions, and/or hard-boiled eggs.
